With IFRS 18 effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027, organisations must prepare for significant changes to the presentation and disclosure of financial information. In Singapore, the equivalent standards are FRS 118 or SFRS (I) 18 and affect wide range of Singapore entities.

This new standard applies to all entities that prepare their financial statements in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards. It introduces enhanced structure and transparency in the statement of profit or loss, along with new requirements around management-defined performance measures.

In this webinar, Chetan Hans of our CFO Advisory team breaks down the key changes introduced by IFRS 18, what they mean in practice, and how they may impact your financial reporting processes, systems and stakeholder communication.

Key discussion areas:

  • Overview of IFRS 18
  • Impact on financial statements
  • Key implementation considerations
  • Practical issues organisations may face during adoption
