5 December 2023 – Grant Thornton Singapore today announces a change in role for Seshadri Rajagopalan (Raja) which will take effect on 1 January 2024.

Raja who has successfully led the firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency practice since its inception will be appointed to a new role in the firm: Senior Partner - Markets. This is an important leadership position in the continuing evolution of Grant Thornton in Singapore as the firm continues its growth journey, adding new partner talent and expanding its range of advisory propositions to businesses in Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.

The Senior Partner - Markets role will provide a central point to lead the firm’s engagement with intermediaries and market influencers including large domestic and international financial institutions, major law firms and regulatory bodies.

Raja will bring an experienced and authoritative external voice for Grant Thornton in Singapore, maximising the impact of the brand in the market and collaborating with service line leaders to present a coordinated and compelling proposition to the market.

Commenting on this change, David Sandison – Practice Leader of Grant Thornton Singapore said, “The continued growth of the firm requires a more active coordination of our go to market strategy across all our service lines and Raja’s extensive experience and breadth of relationships make him the ideal partner to take on this important new role.”
