Avinash has over 15 years of experience and has been part of the Grant Thornton network since 2011. He specialises primarily in audits under IFRS / FRS in Singapore as well as Indian accounting frameworks (Ind AS and Indian GAAP). He has a demonstrated capability in serving cross-border engagements especially group audits that require collaboration amongst multiple jurisdictions.
He has extensive experience advising clients on complex accounting areas (such as revenue recognition, financial instruments, business combinations, leases and digital assets).
Avinash leads the India-Singapore business corridor for Grant Thornton in Singapore and uses his strong understanding of the working and cultural dynamics in India and Singapore to enable a seamless cross-border experience to clients.
Apart from his client serving responsibilities, Avinash plays a key role in the Firm’s technical consultation team in establishing the Firm’s position on complex auditing and financial reporting matters.
His core sector experience spans across Technology, Consumer and Industrial products, Real estate and Renewable energy.
