The Corporate Finance team 

Our Corporate Finance team is focused on assisting diverse client base with their M&A and capital raising requirements. The role provides opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with other Grant Thornton advisory teams across Singapore and region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and be responsible for detailed financial analysis and modelling for M&A and capital raising transactions
  • Lead, review and approve company valuations using various methods, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
  • Lead the preparation, review and finalisation of pitch decks, proposals, presentations, and investment memorandums for internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and manage due diligence processes by directing the gathering, analysing, and interpretation of financial data, and identifying key risks and issues
  • Drive company, industry, market and valuation research to support transaction execution and strategic recommendations  
  • Lead and manage the execution of corporate finance transactions, including coordinating with clients, investors and other stakeholders
  • Supervise, coach and review the work of associates and senior associates to ensure quality delivery and development of the team
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Corporate Finance practice
  • Ideally have been involved in fund raising exercises  

Qualifications & requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency with valuation techniques
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
