We would be delighted if you could join us at our first IFRS seminar

Ahead of the new IFRS 15 standard effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2018, our Global IFRS Leader, Stephen Miller will be leading a seminar to outline the changes to IFRS 15, and the impact they could have on your business.

Stephen’s presentation will include an overview of IFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers, including:

Understand key aspects of the new model
Basics of 5-step control-based model
Common application issues
Presentation, disclosure and transition
Case study examples

The seminar will start with registration at 8.30am. We will have a coffee break part way through the morning and we will end with a question and answer session. Following this, lunch will be provided and there will be networking opportunities.

Stephen Miller Steve is a senior member of the Global IFRS team at Grant Thornton International Ltd based in London. An experienced auditor and advisor, he has authored publications on a variety of technical IFRS topics for Grant Thornton and develops and presents IFRS seminars for Grant Thornton member firms around the globe. Steve works side-by-side with our IFRS technical partners in individual member firms to develop positions on new and evolving IFRS standards and ensures these views are communicated throughout the global network.
