The Valuations Team

Our Valuations team blends technical expertise with a pragmatic outlook to deliver support during the financial reporting process, transactions, restructuring and disputes. Led by accredited professionals with decades of experience, the Valuations team is able to create meaningful value tailored to the needs of each client.

As a fairly new team, its small size allows them to be agile and adaptable to market developments. The team’s open and non-hierarchical culture nurtures the team members to speak freely. Be it clarifications for a project or career aspirations, the team builds up its people to gain the right experience and skills for their career trajectory.

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with your team to:

  • perform valuations for businesses, financial instruments, tangible and intangible assets for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory
  • construct and analyse financial models
  • perform market and industry research
  • assist in pitching for new projects, including preparation and presentation of proposals
  • prepare valuation reports.

Requirements and skills

  • Preferably second year or third year University students pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or another related discipline
  • Able to commit 3 days a week and for a minimum period of 3 months between December 2022 and April 2023.
  • Strong grasp of finance and business valuation concepts
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts and the S&P Capital IQ platform will be an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills; able to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Good writing and communication skills with good knowledge on Microsoft office
  • Singapore residency and able to work in Singapore
