The CFO Services team 

The team helps businesses with their financial reporting and accounting needs in all areas of the business lifecycle. The team works across a wide range of industries, to advise clients on matters such as interpretation and implementation of standards, preparation and consolidation of financial statements, and for accounting for business transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive finance transformation projects to advise clients on accounting and financial reporting solutions
  • Provide innovative solutions in financial planning and analysis activities to help our clients to optimize their financial strategies and achieve their business goals
  • Analyse, understand, optimize and design end-to-end finance roadmaps and processes based on the clients’ business strategies
  • Provide advice and subject matter expertise to leadership and clients on accounting advisory related agenda
  • Stay up to date with new and developing accounting standards and regulatory changes, conducting impact assessments and guiding leadership and clients in their implementation and adoption journey
  • Develop clients’ proposals and participate in presentations and business pitches
  • Engage in and support thought leadership activities on CFO related initiatives
  • Coaching and building capabilities of team members

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant qualifications
  • More than 8 years of experience with an international public accounting firm focusing on financial reporting, finance transformation, data/business analytics. Climate reporting experience will be advantageous.
  • Well-versed in IFRS. Knowledge of US or other GAAP requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand terms
  • Ability to initiate new business development and developing potential opportunities into new engagements
  • Experience in leading and managing multiple projects and engagements in a team-based environment
  • Possess a strong understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals
