This is a fully remote role for candidates based in Malaysia, with a preference for those located in Kuala Lumpur or Penang, offering the opportunity to work directly with Grant Thornton Singapore while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
You will contribute to delivering high-quality audit engagements for a broad and dynamic range of clients, all from a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements, cover engagement planning, process review, preparation, and review of audit workpapers, audit finalisation reports and financial statements across a portfolio of diversified clients including multinational corporations
- Participate in cross-border engagements and group audits with group/component audit teams and/or Grant Thornton network teams
- Recognise possible audit concerns or unusual relationships based on basic financial statement analysis and report them to the assurance team
- Train and coach audit team members by conducting timely performance review and providing feedback to them
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive audit experience
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable
- Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is advantageous
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRS and ISA
