Jeremy is an Associate Director in the Goods and Services tax (GST) service line of the practice and relishes the opportunity to deliver real value-add solutions to his clients.
Jeremy is known for providing advice that is both technically sound and commercially viable to a portfolio of Multi-national Company (“MNCs”) and Small Medium Enterprises (“SMEs”) across a spectrum of industries.
He listens to clients to understand their needs this enables him to tailor his solutions to achieve their objectives. In doing so he provides support to clients at every step of their journey.
The foundation of his advice focusses on managing and mitigating GST compliance risks leveraging IRAS approved and in-house developed solutions. He also regularly works with clients to optimise supply-chain structures to optimise GST efficiency and mitigate GST leakages.
Jeremy is also experienced in the field of tax automation and tax determination software implementation.
Before moving to Singapore, he was a part of Grant Thornton’s London International Indirect Tax (VAT) team and supported firms navigate the introduction of VAT in the United Arab Emirates.
Given his international experience, Jeremy has a solid understanding across a variety of indirect tax regimes, enabling him to provide a holistic approach when identifying domestic and international indirect tax risks. He currently focuses his time on Singapore GST matters.
Jeremy is also active in the Singapore GST community where he regularly presents at webinars and training events on behalf of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”).
