Partner - Tax
David has over 30 years of international tax experience having practiced in the United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore. He has an impressively extensive range of clients across a vast number of industries.
In June 2014 David retired as a Partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore where he helped build key business revenue and expanded its scope into hedge funds, private equity, real estate and infrastructure. Since then he has been running his own highly successful tax advisory practice until joining Grant Thornton in May 2019.
He has sat on the taxation and levies committees for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (formerly the Institute of Chartered Public Accountants), the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals, and the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce.
Amongst other publications, David is also the author of CCH's Singapore Volume of Tax Planning and Compliance in Asia.
David has provided services to a number of the world’s largest financial services clients primarily in structured and asset finance, as well as non-financial services clients. He was also involved with mainstream banking and Scapital market clients.
