Singapore 15 April 2024 – Leading business and professional services firm Grant Thornton Singapore is delighted to announce the appointment of Belinda Tan, the current Head of Forensic, as its new CEO starting today 15 April 2024. Belinda takes over from David Sandison, who has led the firm since 2020. David will be moving back to a full-time role leading the firm’s tax practice.

David commented, “I have enjoyed my time leading the firm over the last 4 years during which time the firm’s revenues have grown at an average annual rate exceeding 30%. I am pleased to hand over the leadership of the firm to Belinda who I am sure will take the firm on to its next stage of growth.”

Belinda commented, “I am proud to have been entrusted to lead the firm and would like to recognise the contribution made by David for the strong legacy and culture he has helped develop, and the exceptional growth he has helped sustain.”

Belinda joined the Grant Thornton network in 2019 from one of Singapore’s Big 4 accounting practices, initially in an international role based in London and then subsequently in Singapore where she established the firm’s forensic practice.

Belinda will retain her role as Head of Forensic.
