Sheryn has over 20 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice. She spent 20 years practising in two of the Big 4 accounting firms and one of the largest corporate secretarial firms in Singapore.
Sheryn has extensive experience in setting up different types of entities spanning wide ranging industries, including asset/fund management, insurance, real estate, banking, clinical research, gaming, oil and gas, business advisory, etc.
She acts as company secretary, attends meetings of Board of Directors and Board Committees and advises management and directors in areas of compliance with the Companies Act and related subsidiary legislations and regulations.
Besides ongoing compliance and maintenance of statutory records, she has participated in various corporate assignments, amongst others, share-related exercises such as share placement, share buyback, share capital reduction, issuance of redeemable preference shares, redemption of preference shares and conversion of shares into stocks, amendments of Constitution, bankruptcy remoteness structuring and short-form amalgamation.
