Arull has 30 years of experience in public accounting firms in Singapore, including 18 years as a practising auditor. Aside from Grant Thornton, he has spent 15 years in other international accounting firms.

He has been the engagement partner for several SGX-ST listed companies and MAS-regulated entities. In addition, he has acted as the Reporting Accountant for the IPO of Catalist listings and the auditor for an issuer report for a Nasdaq-listed company. He brings with him experience across a broad range of industries including insurance, transport and logistics, real estate and construction, oil and gas, and commodities.

He actively contributes to the profession as a member of ISCA’s Nomination Committee and used to be member of Ethics Committee and Insurance committee. He is also appointed Treasurer of SINDA's Executive Committee.
